~Enjoy a Caribbean Culinary Journey with Sandals Resorts~

As renowned TV chef, Ainsley Harriot’s new ITV series follows his journey around the Caribbean to sample the region’s best dishes, visitors who want to recreate their own Caribbean dining experience need look no further than Sandals Resorts.

With flair, finesse and plenty of flavour, couples can now experience their own culinary journey when visiting one of the 16 Sandals Resorts found on the beautiful Caribbean islands of Jamaica, Saint Lucia, Antigua, Barbados, Grenada and the Bahamas. Sandals’ guests can take advantage of the brand’s 5* Global Gourmet dining programme which offers a huge range of Luxury-Included (all-inclusive) dining options, boasting every type of cuisine from fine dining to Asian fusion.

Boasting up to 16 world class restaurants to choose from at each Sandals Resort, couples can have their very own taste of the Caribbean and try out the unique local dishes at one of the brand's Global Gourmet dining experiences across the region – such as Macaroni Pie in Barbados, Goat Curry in Jamaica and Chocolate or spices in Grenada.

Guests staying at Sandals South Coast in Jamaica can sample authentic West Indian dishes and warm Caribbean hospitality at Eleanor’s Pan-Caribbean Cuisine Restaurant, whilst others can sample a true taste of Jamaican Jerk at Sandals’ infamous Jerk Shack restaurants, which can be found at a choice of six different Sandals Resorts across the Caribbean.

On his tour of the Caribbean, Ainsley Harriet meets with Chef Damian Leach - an innovator in Bajan cuisine, who has previously held the title of ‘Caribbean Chef of the Year’ on the island of Barbados. Couples staying at Sandals’ newest property - Sandals Royal Barbados (or its’ sister property, Sandals Barbados which is located just next door) can sample the island’s local fish cake delicacies at Spices Caribbean Cuisine Restaurant.

With Ainsley also visiting the island of Antigua in his culinary tour of the Caribbean, couples staying at Sandals Grande Antigua Resort & Spa can recreate a calypso of flavour at the resort’s own Caribbean restaurant, Eleanor’s, where they can enjoy the best in the rich, flavourful flare that the Caribbean is known for. At Sandals Grande Antigua, couples with a sweet tooth can also enjoy a Caribbean favourite sweet treat - the coconut cream pie with coconut cream, ginger crumble and a local rum sauce.
