Sandals Resorts continues to innovate with a series of exciting openings at the end of 2017 including more of the brand’s popular over-the-water VIP suites, a second resort in Barbados and the reopening of resorts in Turks & Caicos and Antigua.
Turks & Caicos and Antigua: Beaches Turks & Caicos is set to open its doors again on 14th December 2017 after undergoing exciting renovations post Hurricane Irma. According to Sandals Resorts chairman, Gordon “Butch” Stewart, both resorts will be “bigger and better” than before, ready to roll out the red carpet to guests arriving around the Christmas period. Sandals Grande Antigua will be re-opening on 17th December. Much like the Beaches Resort, Sandals are ensuring the re-opening of Sandals Grande Antigua will bring with it some exciting new additions.
Jamaica: Following a series of Over-the-Water additions at Sandals Resorts, the recently renamed Sandals South Coast resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica will open 12 Over-the-Water bungalows on the 15th December. These will offer innovative design including an expansive patio with a Tranquillity Soaking Tub, a hammock for two that sits above the water, an outdoor shower and a swim up patio. The interior boasts ‘sea-through’ glass floors, a king-size bed, and a spacious, spa-style bathroom. Guests can also benefit from personalised butler service and 24-hour room service.
Barbados: Barbados is set to welcome its second luxury-included Sandals Resort to the island on 20th December 2017, just in time for the winter season. This exciting new resort will offer 222 all concierge and butler-level suites as well as being home to a number of Sandals firsts. A four lane ‘Lovers Lane’ bowling alley, a men’s barbershop and an exclusive Skypool complete with the La Parisienne French restaurant and poolside bar are a selection of the new and exciting innovations coming to Sandals and will debut at the Sandals Royal Barbados Resort. Rooms will include Sandals’ signature Rondovals, Millionaire Butler Suites and Skypool Suites, along with an extensive Crystal Lagoon Pool Complex including Swim-Up Suites. For guests in select top category suites, Sandals Royal Barbados will also introduce the additional pampering of chauffeured Rolls-Royce airport transfers
