We love the spine-tingling sound of Hauser’s haunting cello on his version of the music-and-dance challenge

Nothing lifts the spirits quite like Jerusalema, the music-and-dance craze that has swept the world like a tsunami of melodic joy. TheJerusalemachallengewas taken up by millions of people around the globe with each performing a dance reel to the song Jerusalema. The gospel-influenced house song by South African producer Master KG, and performed by singer-songwriter Nomcebo, spread a harmonious message of peace. While the song is in the Zulu language, it hasn’t mattered, proving that music really is a universal language.

Famous Jerusalema efforts have come from all over the world, from the continent of Africa and spreading to Vietnam, Switzerland, Ireland, Austria, Morocco - even Israel's Jerusalem itself.

Our favourite? That’s near impossible with SOOOOO many amazing versions from every corner of the world. But we are really fond of cellist Hauser’s musical retention - it’s uplifting, pure and ambient and the haunting sound of cello a total mood-blitz with the Caribbean World team! Not heard it? Check out Hauser for yourself, he is awesome! Watch it here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4R4UTmJJFt8
