As well as enjoying the rum that Barbados has to offer, foodies will also have the exclusive opportunity to learn how to cook authentic Caribbean cuisine from scratch, including Shivi Ramoutar’s signature dish ‘foil-baked jerk snapper with breadfruit chips’, with the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean Sea as a backdrop. Foodies will also enjoy tantalising Caribbean dishes such as curried paradise prawns and fried bakes, black bean and mango salsa or poached papaya with mango coulis and whipped cream. In addition to hosting two cookery masterclasses, MasterChef contestant Ramoutar will also accompany guests to a local food market to discover the abundance of delicious and fresh produce available on the island.

This culinary-focused holiday couldn’t come as a better time as Barbados is promoting its cuisine under the banner of the “Year of Culinary Experiences” for 2018.
