The luxury resort of Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic is opening a new family pool area on Minitas Beach this November.

Located on the south eastern coast of the Dominican Republic, the resort already features a five star hotel and numerous luxury villas, three championship level golf courses, 370-slip marina plus an array of outstanding facilities. Over the past year it has invested more than US $12 million to further enhance its reputation as a World class resort with an exclusive beach club & restaurant, state-of-the-art golf learning centre, new banqueting venue and hotel room renovations.

The new family pool area is currently being constructed on the sandy Minitas beach and is designed to offer all the facilities a family needs for a day relaxing by the shores of the Caribbean.

Guests can choose to swim in the warm, clear Caribbean waters or pick from two new pools. There will also be a parade of shops, dining options (including ice cream parlour), covered seating area and kids playground.

A variety of watersports are available from the beach including snorkelling, paddle boarding and kayaking.

Seven nights on room only basis departing from Manchester on 26 November currently costs from £1,050 per person (based on 2 sharing) with loveholidays.com. Return transfers are available for an additional £41.50 per person. Prices are correct at time of issue and subject to availability.  To book visit www.loveholidays.com or call tel: 0203 870 6844.

Dripping in Hollywood legacy and Hamptons luxury, Casa de Campo Resort & Villas – a member of The Leading Hotels of the World – spans 7,000 tropical acres on the southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic.

Its facilities include a 370-slip Marina & Yacht Club, Polo & Equestrian Club and tennis centre, but this luxury Caribbean destination is also home to three championship golf courses designed by Pete Dye, including Teeth of the Dog, the #1 ranked golf course in Latin America.

If golf isn’t your scene, head to Altos de Chavón – modelled on a 16th century village and offering boutique shops, museums, art galleries and a 5,000-seat Grecian-style amphitheater inaugurated by Frank Sinatra in 1982. More recently the venue has hosted global superstars ranging from Andrea Bocelli and Julio Iglesias, to Sting, Jennifer Lopez, Elton John and David Guetta.

Casa de Campo opened in the 1970s to an illustrious crowd of VIPs and Hollywood celebs.  During those early days such notables as Michael Douglas, Henry Kissinger, the late Joe DiMiaggio of baseball and Marilyn Monroe fame and even ‘ole blue eyes himself,  Frank Sinatra frequented this resort many times, flying in on their private jets right onto the resorts own airstrip. These days, Casa de Campo and its mansion villa homes continue to attract A-list celebrities, politicians and royals, recently including Jay-Z and Beyonce, the Kardashians, Rihanna, Richard Branson, Michael Jordan, Drake, Alycia Keys, Bill Clinton and many more.

The five-star resort features 247 impressive rooms and suites in addition to numerous luxury villas with private pools. All hotel and villa guests are provided with complimentary golf carts to explore the lush tropical grounds. Guests have a choice of 20 restaurants to choose from, six of which are included for those on all-inclusive basis.

Casa De Campo is featured by several leading UK tour operators and can be accessed by international flights to La Romana International Airport, Santo Domingo International or Punta Cana International Airport.
