Beaches Resorts has recently launched a new sailing programme at Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Villages & Spa, Beaches Negril Resort & Spa, and Beaches Ocho Rios Resort & Golf Club in conjunction with the American Sailing Association (ASA), the globe’s leading authority on sailing instruction and sailing schools. During the new “Sailing Fun” Experience, guests can participate in an eight hour sailing course, designed to introduce both children (ages eight and above) and adults to the sport.
The programme costs $150 per person and includes four two-hour sessions with fellow Beaches Resorts’ guests. Alternatively, parents and children can choose to take a private course for a total cost of $500 for up to four participants. If guests are unable to complete all four sessions during their stay, completed hours can be transferred between all Beaches Resorts within 18 months of the first session. Upon completion, participants will receive a “Sailing Fun” Experience card from Beaches Resorts and the ASA. They will also be registered on the ASA website and their participation at Beaches Resorts will count towards an ASA Sailing Certification.
