Sandals Resorts has launched the brand’s first-ever off-site dining programme, Island Inclusive, at Sandals Royal Curaçao. Guests can savour the exotic flavors of Curaçaoan cuisine, meet local chefs and restaurateurs, and explore the colorful and historic city of Willemstad.
The programme is included free for guests staying seven-nights or more in a Butler suite at the new resort, which opened 1st June 2022. Qualifying guests are given a $250 USD voucher at check-in to spend on lunch or dinner at a selection of local restaurants, all with outstanding TripAdvisor ratings. Sandals Select Guest reward members who are Diamond, Pearl or Ambassador level will also qualify for the programme. Round trip transfers from the resort to the restaurant are also included free of charge. Terms and conditions apply*.
The expertly curated restaurant selection includes chic gastro-bars to international fusion restaurants and classic establishments serving elegant cuisine. The Island Inclusive programme encourages guests to further immerse themselves in the colorful culture of Curaçao, and to enjoy the rich flavors and traditions shaped by Dutch, Caribbean, Latin and Creole influences. The programme is the first of its kind in the Caribbean, reimagining the all-inclusive model to include off site experiences.
A sample of the partner restaurants participating in the Island Inclusive dining programme include:
- Kome – a unique concept to Curaçao with wood-fired meats, a professionally relaxed service style, and a commitment to green practices. The food here is inspired by global cuisines and local ingredients, with the chefs creating menus influenced by their many adventures.
- BKLYN – a chic, contemporary and cozy Gastro-bar where guests can enjoy a wide variety of shareable food, elegant wines, bespoke cocktails and much more, whilst classic 90s hip-hop music plays in the background.
- MosaCaña Bar & Kitchen – this restaurant offers international fusion and Latin/Caribbean fare to be shared with loved ones. Enjoy the upbeat atmosphere and delicious cocktails inside or outside on the garden terrace.
- Sal the Kitchen –a unique dining experience serving good food, fine wine and chilled vibes. The walls of this restaurant, specifically the kitchen, were built of coral. To this day, the coral contains salt that slowly extrudes out of the building, hence the name!
- Restaurant Nultwintig – set directly next to the Caribbean Sea, a team of international chefs will take guests on a culinary experience with delectable dishes that are freshly prepared and beautifully paired with select wines.
