The St. Eustatius Tourism Development Foundation in collaboration with its stakeholders is proud to introduce to the residents of Statia, our “STAYCATION PROMOTION”. This initiative is an attempt to stimulate the tourism industry and assist the hotels economically, but it also presents the opportunity for locals to live like tourists and enjoy the facilities and amenities that we offer to guests on our island. Through this initiative, we aim to encourage local tourism and to create an appreciation and understanding of our tourism product amongst our residents.
The Staycation offer is open only to residents of Statia and proof of residence on the island must be presented at the time reservations are made in order to receive a voucher.
The Staycation package is as follows:
- Guests must reserve a minimum two-night stay. The stay is offered at a reduced rate for the 1st night and they will enjoy the 2nd night free! Guests must be 21 years and olderto qualify.
Reservations can be made between March 15th and June 30th, 2021 for stays between March 15, 2021 to March 15th, 2022.
The Staycation voucher:
- is not transferable
- cannot be used outside of the dates specified on the voucher
- is applicable per room, not per person
Participating businesses are legally recognized Hotels, Motels, Inns, Home Stay and Guest Houses, registered at the St. Eustatius Chamber of Commerce, the OLE, STDF and the local Tax Office. We strongly recommend prior to booking your reservation at any of your favorite establishments to contact the tourist office for additional information. Certain restrictions apply to this promotion.
