On a sun-kissed private island fringed by turquoise Caribbean waters, The Hut, Little Jumby is rewriting the rules of luxury dining and experiential travel. Part restaurant, part cultural hub, part seaside sanctuary—this extraordinary venue has fast become one of the Caribbean’s most exciting new destinations for locals, travellers, and tastemakers alike.
Since opening in November 2024, The Hut has delivered elevated barefoot luxury with a deeply rooted sense of community. Here, high-end hospitality meets authentic island energy—whether it’s a roti in hand, a DJ set at sunset, or world-class chefs lighting up the beachfront grill.
Now, as May unfolds, The Hut is in full celebration mode with a string of signature events blending food, music, fashion, and Caribbean pride.
Carnival Comes to the Beach
The season launched with a riot of colour and culture as The Hut teamed up with Insane Carnival for an immersive beachfront costume showcase. Known for their high-octane carnival productions, Insane brought dazzling parade costumes, music, and kinetic energy to the sands of Little Jumby—blurring the line between stage and shore. It was a powerful ode to Caribbean creativity and connection, framed by salty breezes and rhythm-soaked waves.
Culinary Month & Restaurant Week: Island Flavours, Elevated
As part of Culinary Month and Antigua and Barbuda Restaurant Week, The Hut has debuted a stunning new Prix Fixe menu, created in partnership with the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority. Heroing local produce and bold Caribbean flavours, standout dishes include the fan-favourite Bang Bang Conch and a fragrant, island-style Fish Curry—each designed to reflect the bounty and beauty of the sea just metres away.
South Beach BBQ with a Korean Twist – May 18
A highlight on the May calendar is the South Beach BBQ on Saturday, May 18, featuring guest chef Angel Barreto. Known for his elevated Korean cuisine and modern takes on East Asian flavours, Barreto will deliver a sizzling fusion BBQ against the cinematic backdrop of South Beach. Guests can expect fire-grilled dishes, signature Hut cocktails, a live DJ, and complimentary Provence Rosé, all served under the stars.
Tickets are priced at $75 USD per person, including food, drinks, and entertainment—bringing big flavour and bigger vibes to one unforgettable evening.
Tourism Leaders Set to Arrive – May 20–21
Later this month, The Hut, Little Jumby will play host to senior figures in Caribbean tourism during the Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association (CHTA) conference, proudly supporting Antigua’s President and showcasing the island’s hospitality excellence.
From sunset networking to private tastings, this exclusive gathering will strengthen regional ties and spotlight The Hut’s growing status as a culinary and cultural cornerstone in the Eastern Caribbean.
Dining, Daybeds & Design-Led Relaxation
While the events set the tone, the everyday magic of The Hut lies in its thoughtful details—from beautifully designed cabanas ($75 USD/day per person) to luxurious Beach Huts ($800 USD/day for four). Menus balance indulgence and authenticity, with prices ranging from $19–$36 USD for starters, $28–$78 USD for mains, and $4–$25 USD for desserts. Whether you come for a special occasion or a slow beach lunch, every visit promises soul-satisfying dishes and views to match.
Where the Island Comes Together
At its heart, The Hut, Little Jumby is more than a restaurant. It’s a celebration of community, connection, and Caribbean culture. From costume parades to culinary experiences, from moonlit cocktails to executive gatherings, The Hut is becoming the go-to destination for those who crave something more: not just a table, but a memory. Not just a meal, but a moment.
As the season unfolds, so too does The Hut’s mission—to welcome the world, showcase the region’s richness, and remind every guest that here, paradise has a pulse.
