Somnio, the world’s largest yacht, is set to launch in 2024. Measuring 728 feet (222 meters) in length, this €500 million (£430 million) vessel will feature 39 ultra-luxury apartments, with prices starting at €9.5 million (£8.1 million). The apartments, ranging from 1,600 to 6,500 square feet, will include private balconies or terraces and can be fully customized to the owner’s preferences.

Designed by Winch Design and Tillberg Design of Sweden, Somnio will sail to diverse global destinations, from the Mediterranean to Antarctica, providing residents with a unique blend of luxury and adventure.
Recent Developments:
However, the project has faced challenges. In early 2023, British yacht design firm Winch Design sued Australian investor Carl Le Souef, alleging non-payment of £734,000 for work completed in 2021. Le Souef, who is leading the Somnio project, disputed personal liability for the payments. The High Court ruled in favor of Winch Design, ordering Le Souef to pay the outstanding amount
