Gorgeous supermodel, Helena Christensen, revealed exclusively to Caribbean World, her favorite island in the Caribbean is St. Barts.

Christensen says she loves the lifestyle and cuisine on the island and loves to spend time there when she can’t visit one of her favorite places to eat -- France. “I love St Barths. There are some great restaurants on the island. Paradise on Earth.” It’s incredible that she doesn’t let her love of food and wine stop her from living. I mean, being a model and keeping all that weight in check -- it’s not easy. But the modest star says she doesn’t see herself as a ‘’great beauty’.’

At 44, Christensen says she hates being complimented for aging well because she thinks it’s more important to lead an interesting life. She says: ‘’Why would I suddenly go, ‘Oh, gosh, now I’m a year older. Now I’m 35, now I’m 37...’ I didn’t think about it when I was in my twenties and I’m not thinking about it now. ‘’For a start, you never see yourself as a great beauty. And you look at yourself every day, so it’s not like you suddenly go, ‘Oh my God, my beauty is fading!’ and hide behind curtains for the rest of your life. ‘’I mean, my grandmother is 95 and she’s super-beautiful and really interesting, and I talk to her every three days for about 45 minutes, and those are often the most interesting conversations I can have for weeks.’’

The Danish beauty, who shares a son Mingus, 12, with her ex-boyfriend Norman Reedus from ‘The Walking Dead’, also revealed her son is starting to disapprove of some of the clothing she wears for work. She said: ‘’He will look at me in a strange way. But he grew up with me doing this job. We joke, ‘Your mum’s a model and your dad kills zombies: how’s that for parents?’ ‘’ Helena hates dieting and exercise but took up boxing so she could eat more. She said: ‘’Because I love and cherish food. I think it’s one of the most beautiful things. I realise how fortunate I am to not have those food issues. If I were overweight, it would be really difficult for me to stick to a diet and actually to lose weight.’’
