When one of Hollywood's favourite couples, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, called off their wedding and went their separate ways in 2004, the world assumed it was the end of a love story…..
In a fairytale happy ending that has made the world swoon, J-Lo and Ben Affleck finally tied the knot a whole 19 long years after their much-publicised nuptials were cancelled. With multiple marriages and several children between them, “Bennifer” - as the couple were dubbed by the media - resurrected their love affair. After some loved up outings Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck made several red carpet appearances together which sent the world’s media into a frenzy of speculation. Could it really lead to a second proposal from Affleck, and if so, how could he possibly top the stunning pink diamond that he popped the question with in 2002?
Ben Affleck met J-Lo in 2001 as rising Hollywood actors on the set of Gigli, a rom-com that released in 2003. The movie ultimately flopped, but sparks flew between the leading costars. J.Lo was still married to her second husband, dancer Cris Judd, but once the divorce finalised, she and Affleck went public.In 2002 made a cameo in the iconic music video for "Jenny from the Block." The couple are on the cover of every magazine, all over the world and every interview majors on the 6.1-carat pinkdiamondrock on J-Lo’s finer, which reportedly cost Affleck a cool 2.5 million bucks.
In 2003, the couple star in another movie together with J.Lo playing the dead wife of Affleck's character in Jersey Girl,which underperformed at the box office, grossing only $36 million. In September 2003, they postpone their wedding just days beforethe Big Day, citing “…excessive media attention”.

Just six months later, in June 2004, J.Lo proves she has moved on by marrying singer-songwriter and longtime friend Marc Anthony. The two welcome twins, daughter Emme Muñiz and son Max Muñiz, in 2008. They separated a decade after tying the knot, in 2004 - just a few months before Ben Affleck marries actor Jennifer Garner. The new Hollywood couple welcome three children together: daughters Violet and Seraphina Affleck, and son Samuel Affleck. The couple divorce in 2018.
Bennifer is revived in April 2021 afterJ.Lo’s very public split from Alex Rodriguez and Affleck calls time on his relationship with Ana de Armas. Snappers caught them leaving her Los Angeles home multiple times and they are also spotted jetting off to Montana together.
Nearly two decades after they called it quits, Lopez and Affleck withpress reports that the two "seem committed" to each other. Weeks later, Affleck also reportedly took a flight to J.Lo’s residence in Miami to spend more cozy, quality time with the actress. ByJune 2021, the pair are reportedly already thinking about their future - with friends saying they are in it for the long haul. In July 2021, the couples families begin to spend time together and are getting along "great” with the kids meeting at a birthday party at Universal Studios.

In August 2021, Ben browses engagement rings with his mom and son in a Tiffany & Co. jewellery store. In April 2022, Bennifer get engaged - again! The new engagement ring is an emerald-cut, pale green diamond. Lopez adds a diamond ring emoji to her Twitter name and later reveals the romantic, intimate way that Ben proposed - while she was taking a bubble bath.
The media goes crazy when the couple tie the knot in a midnight Las Vegas wedding in July 2022, it’s a low-key ceremony in a chapel.
Jennifer changes her name to share that of her husband. J-Lo posts on Twitter, gushing: “Love is a great thing, maybe the best of things-and worth waiting for."
Their first honey is in Paris in July 2022, with their their kids, Lopez's twins Max and Emme, and Affleck's daughters, Violet and Seraphina. The couple’ s second wedding is in August 2022, at the Georgia estate of Affleck. Celebrity guests included Affleck's longtime collaborator and close friend Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso and director Kevin Smith and actor Jason Mewes. In photos obtained by PageSix, guests appeared to all be dressed in white for the lavish nuptials.
In August 2022, Jennifer and Ben embark on a second honeymoon, in Italy when they visit Milan and Lake Como. The couple appear blissfully in love.
